Goldhofer receives “Global Market Leader Champion 2021” award German company again wins the global market leader accolade for heavy haulage and oversized cargo transportation vehicles
For the fourth time experts from the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German Global Market Leaders (Schwäbisch-Hall) have confirmed the leading role played by Goldhofer AG in the field of heavy haulage and oversized cargo transportation vehicles. The Memmingen-based company, which is present on six continents, has thus once again received the coveted award. “We are absolutely delighted with this distinction, especially as it reflects the worldwide customer satisfaction deriving from the know-how, experience and above all enthusiastic commitment of our employees. This year Goldhofer again made its mark by outperforming the relevant criteria in the field of heavy haulage and oversized cargo transportation vehicles. In 2019, Goldhofer’s 751 employees generated net sales worth over 213 million euros, with exports accounting for 83 percent of the total, a reflection of the fact that the company, which was founded in 1705, is present with its products on all six continents of the world. But the Global Market Leader Champion 2021 has always remained true to its origins: As one of the oldest German companies in the Global Market Leader Index, Goldhofer AG is wholly owned by the Memmingen-based Alois Goldhofer Foundation.
