Airport Technology presents »SHERPA« Visit our basecamp at inter airport

From 10 to 13 October 2017, the Goldhofer Group will once again present itself as one of the leading providers of complete solutions for ground support equipment (GSE) at the „inter airport Europe” in Munich, Germany. At this year’s leading airport industry exhibition, our eagerly anticipated »SHERPA« – the very first baggage and cargo tow tractor from Goldhofer – will make its debut public appearance. This modular vehicle can be customized and configured in line with the respective tasks: three different diesel engine power rates, three different cabin variants and five different ballasting classes are just the beginning!

Thanks to extremely easy and safe operation, low and wide cabin access as well as ergonomic axle and seat suspension, this comfortable vehicle ensures optimal workflows. Compact dimensions, a 360° view for the driver and a large number of other convenient functions ideally complement the well-thought-out »SHERPA« concept. And, while the maintenance effort for this tow tractor has been reduced to a minimum, its large diesel tank can hold enough fuel for two shifts. At the end of the day, this means that you’re looking at extremely high levels of availability and reliability.

Showcasing three different weight classes as well as engine powers of 36, 55 and 75kW, the »SHERPA« tractors will be presented within our open-air “Basecamp” at the D60 trade fair booth of the Goldhofer Group at the “inter airport Europe.” Moreover, we will be showing three different cabin versions: “Open top”, “Canopy” and “Full cabin.”

Also in terms of electromobility, our Group is looking forward to the future: As part of the e-fleet at Stuttgart Airport, our completely electric conventional aircraft tow tractor F110e has proven its worth and thus can be seen as a real trendsetter for airports around the globe.

 As the largest conventional aircraft tow tractor from Schopf, visitors of inter airport will see the F396 in the F396 C Tier 4f version. Thanks to decades of experience and continuous improvement, this tow tractor can look back on a worldwide success story. Among other things, this impressive vehicle will be shown here with a new design and a new, state-of-the-art engine (Tier 4f) with significantly improved emission levels. The »PHOENIX« – our first jointly produced towbarless aircraft tractor – is another ongoing success story. This tractor is the 4th generation version of the successful AST-2 from Goldhofer – with a “P” for “performance” and an “X” for the stronger “X-tended version.” In both versions, the »PHOENIX« exhibits very convincing features such as safe and rapid pick-up, highest levels of driver comfort, powerful acceleration and high towing speed as well as an optimal traction under any weather conditions. Thanks to our extensive range of products and many well-thought-out functions, all signals are go for innovation and growth.
