The Goldhofer team will have its hands full in the fall of 2024. With Nordbau, IAA Transportation and WindEnergy, three trade shows for different industries are all on the agenda for September 2024.

The action starts with the Nordbau construction industry trade show in Neumünster from September 8 to 12. As in 2023, Goldhofer will be present at stand W223 together with co-exhibitor Volvo Trucks. Visitors will have the opportunity to take a close look at Goldhofer’s latest innovations. The focus will be on two exhibits from the tried-and-tested »STARLINE« range:

The force-steered »STEPSTAR« Z will be on show in the 5-axle version. With the proven and innovative Goldhofer steering system, the »STEPSTAR« Z is ideal for use in the confined spaces of many construction sites and on challenging terrain. The Goldhofer stand will also feature the self-steering 4-axle »STEPSTAR« N with wheel recesses. Even extremely high construction machinery can be transported safely without incurring problems with height restrictions on bridges, etc. The low entry angle and cross ribs fitted as standard ensure safe loading with wheeled vehicles with a low approach/departure angle. The depth of the wheel recesses can be adjusted to the ground clearance of the machine to be loaded. Carsten Duwe, Area Sales Manager for Northern and Western Germany, is enthusiastic about the upcoming Nordbau: “Our products are tailor-made for the construction industry, and we are convinced that we have just the right solutions.”

IAA Transportation, which is being held in Hanover from September 20 to 27, is one of the leading international trade shows for commercial vehicles. Goldhofer will be present in Hall 25 (Stand C07) and will showcase the five-axle »STEPSTAR« Z. This vehicle offers an impressive combination of power and versatility. The »STARLINE« stands for premium quality at attractive prices. Long service life and economical performance are the key requirements that the »STARLINE« easily fulfills. All the semi lowloaders in the »STEPSTAR« range combine high payloads with low deadweights plus an intelligent load securing system. They therefore cover an incredibly full range of transport operations involving heavy and large loads and enable transport companies to win a wide variety of contracts throughout Europe. In addition to an ideal payload-to-deadweight ratio, this highly flexible trailer is fitted with Wader container locks for transporting 10-foot construction containers. The »TRAILSTAR« is also available with Goldhofer’s new »CargoPlus« tires for axle loads of ten or twelve tons for a usable loading height of 780 mm (-60/+140 mm).

Visitors to the Goldhofer outdoor stand K53 directly in front of Hall 25 will also be able to inspect a complete tractor-trailer rig in the form of a MAN heavy-duty tractor unit and a self-tracking trailer combination with a 5-axle SN-L trailing dolly for transporting long loads. This flexible combination with the self-tracking trailer is a convincing solution for transports for both the wind power industry and the construction industry. The concept benefits from Goldhofer AG's many years of experience with regard to ease of operation, stability requirements and flexibility in the high-performance wind energy sector. Simple, user-optimized operation and adjustment of the steering at the push of a button are additional factors that contribute to maximum efficiency and help save resources.

In addition, the IAA will raise the curtain on synergies generated by Goldhofer’s Transport Technology and Airport Technology divisions: At stand N64 in the outdoor area, Goldhofer’s strategic partner Terberg Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH will be presenting the »SHERPA« E zero-emission cargo tractor for industrial applications. “Entrepreneurship, a spirit of innovation, expertise and an uncompromising commitment to quality have always been the driving forces behind Terberg’s success. But what will the green logistics of the future look like? Terberg asked itself this question very early on. With Goldhofer, we have gained a competent partner in the field of e-mobility and are looking forward to discussing the logistics of the future with industry users at the IAA,” says Patrik Neuwinger, Sales Director at Terberg.

Dennis Leschensky, Goldhofer’s Director of Sales Europe / North Africa, is full of confidence regarding IAA Transportation 2024: “Following the highly positive outcome of the last IAA, we are firmly convinced that we will have another successful trade show this year. We are looking forward to exciting talks and discussions with our customers and industry experts. The advantages of the Goldhofer exhibits speak for themselves: They are the key to greater efficiency, reduced downtimes and increased safety in every transportation situation. Goldhofer customers can rely on dependable technology that makes their everyday work easier.”

The third fall event for Goldhofer will be WindEnergy, the world’s leading wind power trade show, which will be held in Hamburg from September 24 to 27. The event will bring together players and decision-makers from the onshore and offshore wind power industries. Goldhofer will naturally be present at the event, at Stand 219 in Hall B7, providing opportunities for innovation and knowledge transfer and extensive networking. Tobias Leschensky, Area Sales Manager at Goldhofer, stresses the importance of WindEnergy: “The trade show offers us a unique opportunity to demonstrate our innovative strength and market leadership in the field of special transport solutions for wind energy components. Our Goldhofer FTV wind turbine blade carrier is an outstanding example of how we respond to the challenges posed by the industry with incomparably powerful solutions.”
